An incredibly exciting step forward. Thank you, President Toribiong and Palau, for recognizing how critical the situation facing sharks is, for providing sharks with one of the largest sanctuaries on the planet, for helping to protect our planet, for taking a stand against shark finning, and hopefully, for setting an example for many other countries to follow. It is my hope that this is only the start – and that you will be able to protect your waters as boldly and successfully as you have declared this sanctuary. Know you have our support in this as well.

Shark hunting - support the ban
This is excellent new on a preposterous act!
We must support Palau and contries alike with our tourism dollars, for Shark hunting is unsustainable, but our tourism dollars are!
If we refuse to visit the shark destroying countries, then they will soon see the power of the people is much stronger than the greed of a few.
