WildAid and Shark Savers are partnering on a mass-media and Internet grassroots campaign in China to curb the consumption of shark fin soup. |

Misool Eco Resort was established in 2005 by a group of dedicated conservationists, divers, and adventurers. The resort is located on a private island in Raja Ampat, Indonesia and is surrounded by its own 468 sq mile Marine Conservation Area. Misool Eco Resort is Shark Savers' partner in Indonesia. Together, we led the initiative to create the recently announced 17,760 square mile Raja Ampat Shark Sanctuary.

They conduct world-class scientific research that increases knowledge about critical threats to oceans and their inhabitants, with a strong emphasis on declining shark populations; provide the foundation for smarter ocean policy; and, establishe new frameworks for improved ocean conservation. The Institute and Shark Savers have entered into a partnership to develop community-supported marine protected areas called "Parks for Sharks," beginning with Glover's Reef, Belize. |
