Shawn's accomplishments include: co-founding and growing an interactive agency to yearly revenues of $25 million and "Top 15 Independent Agency" in America; driving growth and market development strategies for clients such as Merck, Campells and GMAC; developing go-to-market strategies and managing finance for a start-up game/interactive media company and together with the CEO raising over $20 million in venture financing; as VP of International Business Development, establishing global distribution network of VARs and resellers; partnering with government of Singapore to secure grants and establish a software development office in Singapore; founding and growing a media software division to 25 people and becoming the market leader in game user interface technologies; developing key customer and partner relationships including NVidia, Microsoft, Sony, and Electronic Arts, and ultimately orchestrating the sale of the division to a the leader in the graphics technology space. The entrepreneurial and business networking skills acquired in these roles have proved to be an invaluable asset in Shawn's film and conservation pursuits.

Shawn is also a passionate filmmaker and cinematographer with over 10 years experience. Shawn is Founder and Executive Producer of both WildSphere Productions and Blue Sphere Media, production companies specializing in underwater films. With an international array of clients including CNN, A&E Television and WildAid, his award-winning work has been featured in broadcast, promotional and conservation productions around the world. Much of his film and conservation work focuses on the threatened marine environment.

In his conservation pursuits, Shawn is dedicated to ending shark finning and establishing marine protected areas. He sits on Shark Savers' Board of Directors and WildAid's Advisory Board and is actively involved in both organizations. He has also worked closely with organizations including TNC, CI, Save Our Seas, Sea Shepherd and Misool Conservation Center.
